My kids have been asking me this for years, and the answer has only gotten more complicated with time.
I’m a writer. I write books, articles, blog posts, social media updates, web copy, direct mail pieces, pizza takeout menus, annual reports… if information needs to be conveyed, I will find the best words to do it.
Words will always be my first love, but words are no longer enough. We live in a multimedia world where messaging includes words, pictures, sounds, and video. All of that is content.
